I should totally be studying for my 2 papers tomorrow, but somehow I just can't seem to continue looking at my notes, which I swear I'm going to burn after my A levels ( wait I'm so hot that the notes are already on fire. KIDDING )

This Block Test week has been gone in a flash and it's Friday tomorrow. I hope I'm not the only one actually thinking about what activities to do right after this torture. :)

Yeah I wanna have a canoeing outing, like we were having thoughts about one ever since our season has ended. But all the commitments and busy timetables of fellow mates made it seem like having an outing is impossible. Yeah all the studying going on, I hate it. Lets have one like real soon PLEASE I'm on my knees right now while typing this lol.

By the way CONGRATULATIONS to the K4 boys for getting the colours award you guys deserve it.

Hello TEAM! This blog is really getting dead so I'm here to make a post. Nope this time no lame stuffs, no funny SAJCcanoe editions, no random stuffs. Today is the CanoeMarathon'09, and i must say, I'm really impressed and proud of our team. =)

I'm really angry/disappointed that I didn't get to paddle in this race, ( as this is actually one of my priorities and goals that I want for myself in Canoeing ) but in the end I realised that it wasn't that bad being at the portage area, doing my part to help the team in ANY way i could.

Being a helping crew actually made me realise that how important it is to have supporting roles in any races. Plus I see most of us doing their best to not finish the race, but to WIN it. The sense of urgency, the need to drag your tired bodies across the sand for the portage, the refusal towards any accelerade or water, owns most of the other competitors out there. I can see the growth in our team, plus the increase in medals hoho. Congrats to the K4 crews, Dayna&Rach, DSA girls, Raymond, Ben, Gideon, Cheehao&Louis, the TP canoeists and the seniors! ( hope i didn miss out anybody if i did im sorry =\)

For the rest who didn get any placings, dun feel bad abt yourself. In fact, pick out the positives out of the race and improve on ur mistakes. Yes tell yourself that u will do better next time, but there is not much " next times " anymore, so we really have to push ourselves. Well I have an excellent view at the portage area haha. I can see Eleanor paddling hard in her T1, increasing her frequency when she heard our cheers for her, I can see Fiona refusing to give up, I can see Ben chasing real hard after " Chenyang ".

Well the most imporant thing is to keep the " Feel Good " factor so we can keep improving. I guess Im really naggy now lols and sorry to those whom I've been quite cold towards cus Im thinking really hard about how I need to catch up and achieve my goal the whole day. Err.. and Im feeling much better from my injury hmm.. hope no complications.. Maybe u think I'm in no position to talk so much, but I think this post will help all of us including myself yeah.

Hello everybody! I guess everyone is feeling weird about trainings for this week.. cus except for Eleanor, the rest of the girls are away ( UK, OCIP, Church camp ). No offense to the girls but we got the guy's team feeling haha. Plus having the perth trip it's gonna take a while before the whole team gets together hiaz.. Oh wells. Everyone train hard! We got a lot of activities to look forward to mans. Perth trip and the team chalet, plus the exchanging of christmas gifts hohoho. Fitness test was good too, everybody improved haha. HELLO EVERYBODY this SAJC canoe Just For Laughs part 2!

On Tuesday after swimming and study session Leon, Weiyang, Louis, Jonny and myself went to Gideon's house to play GuitarHero World Tour WOOHOO! We got some vids of it and JUST FOR ENTERTAINMENT (and requests for it to be posted) HERE THEY ARE.

Heres Gid singing "The Kill". And hell yeah his singing is so funny. Leon never fails to give funny faces haha. Jonny on the Bass, Me on the drums!

Heres Jonny singing LOL, yes. JONNY. He quite shy lah, so he only whispering into the mic. We still waiting for his true form to be unleashed lols.

This is the highlight of the day! Leon is singing some Latino song LOL. Trust me he hit almost every note in the song and got a freaking high score. And that IS his voice, dun doubt haha!

Hello team! Promos are over and I hope you guys had enough play and rest! Time is running up and we need to start working together as a unit towards our A'divs. I'm just here to share a little of my thoughts with you guys.

At times we tried. At times we failed.At times we feel jaded. At times we feel like giving up. At times we feel that what we had done is already enough. At times we feel depressed. At times we are defiant. At times we ask ourselves "Why am I going through all these ****? I'm hell tired!"

I'm sure many of us would undergo all of the above, but this is life, and life is full of setbacks, thus all we need to do is to have confidence with ourselves and bounce back and continue fighting! Easier said than done you would say, but I'm sure every individual in this team is physically and mentally strong enough!

Eugene sent me this really nice video of a scene in the Rocky Balboa movie, and I think it's really meaningful and inspirational. Just like to share it with all of you. Alright then, exams are over, see you people back in training! (back to the good'ol days..)

The white jersey is settled, and from the supplier's information we can get the jersey by next week. I remember Hils say he will LOL if the white jerseys come faster than the blue one. Yo team! I think i have to apologize for the constant delay for the team jerseys. The FBT warehouse aunty last minute told us there is no sizes for the guys singlets. Sian right, by right 15th August can collect.
Unfortunately we can only wear the jerseys once trainings resume after the promos. =\ argh. ALRIGHT on a brighter note hope u people liked the team jacket! Apologies, if anyone felt that the jacket was too plain.. Should have added the school crest. argh lols.
Finally got one more piece of news! We can collect the blue jerseys on 1st September, anyone wants to go down and collect the jerseys together? ( That day is a holiday if im not wrong..) Then Hils can go and dance for the aunty. for the last time. (u wun get to see her again hils.. cherish the opportunity..)
For the own team jersey, we decided to stick to the white one that the seniors used. Sorry for any disappointment but that one still.. not that bad lahh haha. Date for collection not decided yet, and some of us will go and settle it tomorrow i suppose haha.

HARLO team, this blog is going to die soon so im going to post lol .

Eh I came up with a plan that can help us to keep our equipments efficiently after every training...( hope it works...) Everyone will have to do a part in packing up.. so.. heres wad YOU guys have to do!

Girls: If girls are using JK, when training is over, help each other to keep the boats at the PA shed. after that.. jog quickly back to " base " and help put all paddles together. THEN, help take out the bags. 2-3 girls help volunteer to collect ALL life-jacks ( I dun mean yong xiang ) and hang it neatly in a row behind the shed. =))

Guys: All help to keep the boats at " base " quickly, no walking and chit-chatting ( leave all jokes and crap to after training ), taller guys to keep the boats on the higher racks. Put all paddles together on the grass ( for counting ) and help to take out all bags.

All: after taking out the bags, put all paddles (32 of them) into the shed. Miss Ong's paddle "SAJC 200" should be placed above all paddles. Handle paddles with care =))

Try to leave all talking until training ends, and no walking unless having injuries or valid reason alright? WE SHALL TRY THIS OUT AND SETTLE EVERYTHING WITHIN... 5 MINS.

OKAY THATS ALL, everyone help to do a part, for teamwork is wad u can give to the team, not the other way round!

hey everybody, first time im posting on our new blog - feels great. haha.

well nothing major to mention here, just want to spread the word that i hope that all of you will cultivate the habit of maintaining a personal notebook for canoeing. you can use it to record down upcoming events/training reflections/paddling tips etc. i believe that this will help us keep track of the journey that we will be making together over the course of the next year. furthermore, it can act as a "memento" that we can keep after we leave the team. :)

please help to spread the word, hope that this idea will be adopted to as many of yall as possible.

Everything just happened so fast.
i didnt have to enjoy it well.

Training.
Okay. We started off well, everyone was on time, carried stuffs out, and did 300 counts of 8 of jumping jets. It was imba la, cos coach feel that girls not aggressive enough. I got into the counting in the end as well. Hahas, but it was good~
(P.S I have FAITH in you GIRLS!!!)
Down to water. Another Mileage day, accidents happen, got a bit pissed off, but couldnt blame it, just hope all would be more becareful next time. They are like your M-16s in ur army, ur Wife-to-be. Everyone was doing well, a great start towards the next year we have together, but i believe that there are much more to be done in order to strike the goals that u all told me about.

Team Dinner.
Hmm, at first was quite separated, cos everyone came at separated timing. Then was fun, everyone was busy eating, chionging all the SIN-ful food they can get their hand upon. While others have FUN sabo-ing the new elected CAPTAIN. It was fun, wasnt it guys??? HAHAS.

Den it was the so called "Monkey movie and presentation" session. Hahas. Actually, i felt that the video that was complied seriously touched me right deep in my heart. Im not very sure how u guys feel about it, but i guess raymond and me would have it more as we have been through all these with the j2s. Through the FIRE and FLAMES (btw, <- is a nice song, very motivating for trainings.) It is really like the blink of eyes, and right now its time for us to say goodbye, to bid them of, and to bring SAJC Canoeing towards the new height. Thanks for the memories, good or bad, my dearest, with RESPECT, seniors.

Alright, shall keep it short here. Going to sleep already, hope someone will bring up more pictures from dinner next time. Till denn.
